Help with EMR Rebate
Wolfson Consulting, Inc. can help your practice qualify for the EHR "Meaningful Use" rebate through: The Medicare EHR Rebate or The Medicaid EHR Rebate Program.
If your practice is already using an E.H.R. or E.M.R. System, or if you plan to start using such a system, you may be eligible for rebate payments from the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
However, it is essential to keep the following factors in mind:
To receive the maximum EHR incentive payment, Medicare eligible professionals must begin participation by 2012.- There will be a Medicare "payment adjustment" (decrease) for all Medicare Providers who DO NOT successfully demonstrate Meaningful Use by 2015
- To qualify for rebate payments &/or avoid a payment adjustment in Medicare reimbursement, your practice must:
- Be "eligible", according to CMS rules
- Register for the EHR Rebate Program
- Use a Qualified EHR System, according to CCHIT (The Center for Certification of Health Information Technology)
