Wolfson Consulting, Inc. provides consulting services to healthcare organizations to help those practices function more efficiently and to help them deliver better care to their patients.

Practice Policies & Procedures:
HIPAA Policies: Federal Law requires all practices to "develop and implement written privacy policies and procedures that are consistent with the (HIPAA) Privacy Rule".
Employment & Administrative policies and procedures are necessary for all practices in order to protect Practice Employees, Administrators, Providers and Patients. Wolfson Consulting, Inc. can help by providing the following services:
- Assessment of your practice's current security and administrative environments
- Development of the desired and required policies & procedures
- Communication: Presentation and discussing of your practices policies & procedures to all those included, including employees and staff, in a way that is professional and inclusive.
- Documentation: Formal documentation of the policies in case they are requested by a patient, or required by a formal investigation or audit.
Information Technology (I.T.):
Recent Federal legislation has encouraged the use of Electronic Health Records (EHR's) by physician practices through both of incentives and penalties. - Selection of the appropriate Vendors to meet your Practices requirements
- Project Management of the Implementation of a new EMR or EHR in a way that causes the least disruption to your practice, while attaining the proper Incentive Payments &/or avoiding decreased reimbursement from Medicare, Medicaid or Private Insurers.
